Subject: What I want in my new U.S. representative — someone who will speak out forcefully on important issues facing us, in this case the “Economic Consequences of Climate Change.” I also want someone who can and WILL push back aggressively against Tea Party lunacy (in this case denial of climate science). Over the next 3 1/2 months of the campaign, let’s see which of the 11 Democratic candidates (if any) can rise to the level demonstrated in this floor speech by Jim Moran. Almost certainly, THAT will be the person who I’ll endorse.
