Please take me off your mailing list. Even though I do not live in Arlington I am a loyal Democrat and I always believe you can disagree with our elected leaders but I would never support a Republican. The Republican views on a Woman’s right to chose, on marriage equality and Medicare expansion are positions I could never support. I would rather support an anti-streetcar candidate who was a Democrat than ever support a Republican. I had hoped that you would reconsider your opposition to the streetcar in light of the overwhelming evidence that it is better for the environment, will carry more people and will build a better Pike with better return on investment. It is also an important regional tool for economic growth. I am afraid your view is very short sighted and politically expedient and I cant support an elected official who puts one issue above all the important issues that Democrats fight for everyday.
