1. Do you continue to believe, as you said earlier this summer, that “a minimum wage job is where you learn to get to work on time….Its where you learn the social aspect of work, where you play on a softball league and go for a beer after work?”

You stated that there are a “number of functions that the federal government performs that would better be performed by individuals in the private sector and by the states,” but when asked to specify, you could only name one – the Export-Import Bank – bringing back memories of Rick Perry’s “oops” moment. Regardless, how do you justify cutting the Export-Import Bank when it actually REDUCES the federal deficit, makes money for taxpayers, helps American businesses compete with other countries which subsidize their corporations, and which is relied on by dozens of Virginia businesses?
3. Do you support a path to earned citizenship for undocumented immigrants? Would you have voted for the bipartisan immigration bill that passed the U.S. Senate by a 68-32 vote? Or would you have voted “no” along with Senators like Ted Cruz, James Inhofe, Rand Paul and Mitch McConnell?
4. Do you agree with your fellow Virginia Republican Mark Obenshain that women who have miscarriages should report them to the police?
5. Do you believe that LGBT Americans are entitled to every right, including marriage, that other Americans are entitled to?
6. Do you believe that life begins at conception, and if so do you believe that abortion should be outlawed in America?
7. Assuming you believe that life begins at conception, would you support a “personhood” amendment which would effectively outlaw embryonic stem cell research, in vitro fertilization and many forms of contraception?
8. Do you agree with 97% of scientists who say that human activity, particularly combustion of fossil fuels and deforestation, are causing catastrophic global warming?
9. Given the scientific fact of man-made global warming, what is your plan to rapidly phase out fossil fuels and replace them with clean energy sources like wind and solar?
10. What is your detailed plan to “replace” Obamacare?
11. Do you regret your work as a lobbyist for one of the most corrupt companies in U.S. history, Enron, especially given that that company’s collapse let 20,000 employees without a job or healthcare, while to executives went to prison?
12. Why did you refuse to answer reporters’ questions about your involvement in the RSLC’s alleged scheme to funnel gambling money to Alabama Republicans?
13. Do you remain proud of your work for former House Majority Leader Dick Armey, given Armey’s support for Todd Akin after his “legitimate rape” comment; and also given Armey’s rabid homophobia (e.g., calling Barney Frank “Barney Fag”)? Also, do you agree with your former boss, Dick Armey, that Focus on the Family founder James Dobson “and his gang of thugs are real nasty bullies?”
