And yes, environmentalists are right to “decry Obama’s Shell game” when it comes to drilling for oil (WTF?!? seriously?) in the Arctic. I mean, are you crazy? A spill there would be an absolute catastrophe, almost impossible to clean up, utterly devastating. Plus, given the need to get OFF of fossil fuels ASAP due to catastrophic global warming, te LAST thing you want to do is open up new areas for fossil fuel extraction. Does President Obama, otherwise a super-smart guy, not “get” this? If not, why not?
