Here are a few national and Virginia news headlines, political and otherwise, for Sunday, April 10. Also, check out that fake front page by the Boston Globe, giving an idea of the types of headlines we’d see if Donald Trump were ever elected president. I’d add “wars break out all over world,” “global warming out of control,” and a few others as well.
- Krugman: The Donald and the Veg-O-Matic (“…the Veg-O-Matic temptation exists for everyone. Yes, we see some of it in the populist uprising within the Democratic party, where anyone questioning the happy talk can be dismissed as a corrupt tool of the corporations. But the big example of Veg-O-Matic reasoning I see right now — in this case the anti-VOM version — is coming in what we might call the mainstream critique of Donald Trump.”)

- Loudoun County Straw Poll Prior to the 10th District Convention (All you need to know: Far-right extremist and anti-LGBT bigots Dick Black finished first and Eugene Delgaudio finished third for national delegate. Also interesting that Ed Gillespie won this far-far-right-wing crowd for governor, and that Ken Cuccinelli wasn’t even on the straw poll ballot.)
