Video: Dominion Power’s Proposed Gas Pipelines Would “Directly Threaten 6 River Basins in Virginia Alone”

Virginia river basins would be threatened by both the construction and operation of the Atlantic Coast Pipeline and Mountain Valley Pipeline. The two high volume fracked gas pipelines would directly threaten six river basins in Virginia alone. Those six river basins are sources of drinking water for 13.9 million people. The river impact map shows that it is not just Virginians in the mountains that face water security issues from the ACP and MVP. The impact region stretches all the way up to DC and as far south as Virginia Beach.

We are all on the frontline in this fight. Water is a human right. Water is a commons. No one has the right to destroy. Virginians are greater than pipelines and the pipelines will be stopped!
