In a recent debate for Lt. Governor of Virginia, the (far-right) Republican nominee, Jill “Mandatory Transvaginal Ultrasounds” Vogel, attacked the Democratic nominee, Justin Fairfax – a graduate of Columbia and Duke, no less! – for supposedly not being smart enough to talk about Virginia policy issues. Incredible, I know – and that’s not even getting into the racial overtones. So last night, Rep. Donald McEachin (D-VA04) – in the leadup to the Obama rally for Northam/Fairfax/Herring last night in Richmond – struck back at Vogel. Hard. See the video below, in which McEachin mocks Vogel for questioning Fairfax’s intellect, when Vogel didn’t even seem to understand what her own (transvaginal ultrasound) bill would have done. In Rep. McEachin’s words, “Jill please!” LOL
