To me, the following response doesn’t sound serious by Rep. Scott Taylor (R-VA02), more a polite answer to the question than anything else. Although in the comments section, Taylor does reiterate, “This kind of stuff certainly makes one consider.” So who knows. I do find it fascinating that Taylor – faced with a potentially strong Democratic opponent this fall and the potential loss of his (one-term) seat in the U.S. House of Representatives – might be considering bugging out already and shooting for higher office. It also tells me how seriously Taylor might take the current clown show…er, Republican 2018 field for U.S. Senate, with neo-Confederate Corey Stewart, off-the-deep-end theocrat EW Jackson and this guy (anti-LGBT hero Nick Freitas) the current gruesome threesome vying to take on Sen. Tim Kaine. Good luck with that, guys! LOL
