From the Democratic Party of Virginia (DPVA):
FROM FLORIDA WITH DON: Scott Taylor is heading to Florida to campaign with Donald Trump, Jr.
While Scott Taylor refuses to answer whether or not he supports Corey Stewart because he’s focused on voters in his district, next week he heads to Florida to campaign with Donald Trump, Jr.
Richmond, VA – Over the weekend, America’s “Trumpiest Congressman”, Florida Republican Matt Gaetz, announced that Rep. Scott Taylor (VA-02) and President Trump’s “Ambassador to the Fringe”, Donald Trump, Jr., will take a trip to the Sunshine State to campaign for him.
Scott Taylor has time and again refused to answer whether or not he supports Virginia Republican standard-bearer Corey Stewart. His excuse for avoiding his constituents on the Corey Question is that he is focused solely on the voters of VA-02. However, Taylor’s trip to Florida with Donald Trump, Jr. suggests otherwise.
Scott Taylor’s Don Jr. Florida excursion to support Gaetz, who invited a Holocaust-denier to the State of the Union, shows that Taylor is not focused on his VA-02 constituents, but rather kissing up to President Trump, his son, and his favorite Congressman. While Scott Taylor (who votes with President Trump 98% of the time) will not answer whether or not he supports Corey Stewart, this Florida trip shows Corey and Scott Taylor have the same guiding ideology: Trump First.
