A few things I’d note about this “Fairfax Buses to Rally for the Republic Rally” event on 9/26: 1) it’s sponsored by the far-right, “Tea Party,” Orwellian group FreedomWorks, which among other things regularly denies climate science, pushes an anti-union agenda, and is bankrolled by big far-right donors; 2) FreedomWorks’ goal in this case is “to flood the halls of Congress with the sound of your voice and make it perfectly clear to YOUR Members of Congress that YOU want conservative champion Jim Jordan as the next Speaker of the House and Judge Brett Kavanaugh on the Supreme Court!”; 3) they spell Jim Jordan’s last name alternately as “Jordan” and “Jorden”- lol. But the bottom line is that the far right is lining up its fake “grassroots” to push this country to the far(ther) right, both with the elevation of extremist and all-around slimeball Jim Jordan to House Speaker (if, god forbid, Republicans maintain control on November 6) and also with the confirmation of anti-choice/anti-environment/anti-worker/anti-voting-rights/etc. Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court. Not good.
