Second, from the Chad Thompson for Delegate campaign:
James Carville Endorses Chad Thompson for Virginia Delegate
(Herndon, VA) Former Senior Advisor to Bill Clinton James Carville gave his endorsement to Chad Thompson for Thompson’s candidacy for the Democratic Nomination in the 86th District of the Virginia House Delegates late Thursday night. Carville sat down to record his endorsement video at his home where he shared his thoughts on the Democratic Party, the Northern Virginia area, and Thompson as the prime candidate for the Democratic nomination.
“I have always found [Chad] to be a person who is gracious, well mannered, really really smart, and a very, decent qualified human being,” Carville stated in his video to the 86th District voters. “I can recommend him to Northern Virginia voters without hesitation, equivocation, or reservation. He is truly a fine young man and will uphold the greatest traditions of the Democratic Party. He will always listen. He will always put the people of Northern Virginia first. He will not fall for any of this right-wing chicanery or tricks. He will stand up tall for people in his district and all over the commonwealth.”
Mr. Carville went on to say, “Whenever someone from my office goes on to do great things, I am always happy about it. And Chad will go on to do great things in Virginia politics and I am glad to give him an assist in his electoral effort.”
Chad Thompson has known and worked with James Carville for over twenty years. Chad first worked with Mr. Carville in 1995 as an intern. He later rejoined his office as a special assistant to Mr. Carville, who was senior advisor to President Bill Clinton at the time. Chad would like to express his deepest gratitude and excitement to have an esteemed Democrat and mentor like Carville in his corner.
