The Latest from the HD86 Democratic Nomination Contest (1/12/19): Kofi Annan, Ibraheem Samirah, Chad Thompson, Mike O’Reilly

HD86 (parts of Fairfax County/Loudoun County) Democrats will be holding a “firehouse primary” on Saturday, January 12 to select a nominee to replace Del. Jennifer Boysko (D-HD86), assuming she wins (which is highly likely) her special election for State Senate (the seat being vacated by Congresswoman-elect Jennifer Wexton) on January 8. The candidates for HD86 are Kofi Annan, Ibraheem Samirah, Chad Thompson and Mike O’Reilly. See below for the latest from each of them. Also note the following information regarding this nomination.

Caucus Date: Saturday, January 12, 2019
Time: vote any time between 10:00am to 4:00pm
Locations: 86th District voters may cast a ballot at either of these two locations:

Franklin Middle School, 3300 Lees Corner Road, Chantilly, VA 20151
Dranesville Elementary School, 1515 Powells Tavern Pl, Herndon, VA 20170
