Just minutes ago, the Virginia State Senate voted 26-14 (every Democrat voting in favor plus seven Republicans out of 21) in favor of ERA ratification. See below for video of that vote, as well as speeches both for and against. Now, it’s up to the Republican-controlled Virginia House of Delegates to do the right thing and a) allow a floor vote on this amendment; and b) ratify it at long last!
