Rodman Campaign Releases First TV Ad, “What I See”

HENRICO, VA — Today, Debra Rodman released her first television ad of the 2019 General Election in her run for Virginia’s 12th State Senate District.

What I See” focuses on the daily experiences and shared concerns felt by Virginians across Henrico and Hanover counties: passion for better public education, concerns of gun violence, and anxieties over the cost of health care.

“As I travel the district, knocking on doors and talking to people in our community — they’re ready for a state Senator who sees things the way we do,” said Rodman. “I’m a mom and an educator who has called Henrico home for more than a decade. I’m running because I’m concerned about gun violence, about President Trump’s attacks on our health care, and about our teachers and students. In the state Senate, I’ll fight for all Virginians—not the special interests.”

Rodman was elected in 2017 to bring the perspective of regular people to government, winning on a message of expanding Medicaid and prioritizing public education. She immediately began delivering on those promises and has earned a reputation as one of the most present legislators in the community.
