Juli Briskman became, well, inadvertently famous by being in the right place at the right time to express the feelings that the majority of Americans have for Donald Trump. Fired shortly after by her employer, Loudoun voters voted today to make her a member of the new Democratic Party majority on the Loudoun Board of Supervisors.

Obviously, Juli is not alone. The Virginia Blue Wave of 2017 (statewide wins and House gains) was followed by the Blue Wave of 2018 (three Congressional seats flipped) that has now been followed by Blue Wave 2019 (gaining majority control, with breathing space, in both the House and Senate).
Virginians are clear in their voting. The Republican message and Republican policies simply don’t have appeal to Virginians. And, well, with their votes, Virginians are joining Juli in giving Trump the finger.
And, well, as for Kentucky, sure Bevin is the least popular governor in the nation (as McConnell is the least popular Senator …) but Trump went all in for him. Trump’s message in Kentucky:
