UPDATE 3:12 pm – Rep. Luria’s response kicks Taylor’s butt!
Former Rep. Scott “Petitiongate” Taylor (R-VA02), who is now running to try to regain his former seat (which he lost to Elaine Luria in November 2018), this morning on far-right Trumpster radio, demonstrating utter contempt and disrespect for women. Disgusting.
“I mean, you know, Elaine Lauria is not at all who she said she was and she’s exactly who we said she was. She’s in the pocket of Pelosi, she’s voted for her 98% of the time. What you just mentioned was these girls have national security backgrounds, they came out way before there was any bit of evidence whatsoever and they did so, this op-ed, to create political cover for moderates to allow Pelosi to move forward. There’s no question about that. And I think you had Nick [Freitas] on here earlier, talking about Spanberger hasn’t said anything about the Middle East situation. Neither has Elaine. Heh. So these people who have national security backgrounds that they talk about every single day haven’t said anything about this national security situation, THE national security situation that’s going on right now in the world.”

Demeaning public servants like @ElaineLuriaVA and @SpanbergerVA07 as “girls with national security backgrounds” is sexist and low even for Scott Taylor.
