This morning, I posted about what would be considered at today’s meeting of the Senate Commerce and Labor Committee, just two days before the crucial “Crossover” legislative deadline. So what ended up happening? See below for what ended up being a very consequential meeting, for better and for worse, depending on your perspective!

S.B. 78 Minimum wage; pay based on work done. – Reported from the Committee on a 12-3 vote.

S.B. 172 Health insurance; payment to out-of-network providers, emergency services. – Reported from the Committee with a substitute on an 8-7 vote.

S.B. 201 Virginia Telephone Privacy Protection Act; telephone solicitation calls. – Incorporated into SB812 on a 15-0 vote.
