A bit earlier this evening, Sen. Mark Warner spent 45 minutes or so discussing the Coronavirus crisis and answering Virginians’ (many) questions. As Sen. Warner said, as he wound down the town hall:

“This is a time where I think we’re going to have to look into our faith, we’re going to have to look to each other as family members, we’re going to have to look to each other as neighbors, even if it is through a Skype or a Zoom chat. We’re going to have to hang in together. There is nothing this country can’t overcome with resilience. But I don’t want to sugarcoat the fact that the next 10 days are going to be a challenging time. And we’re going to all have to lean on each other, we’re going to all have to rely on a little bit of grace…towards each other, and realize…that there’s a lot more that binds us together as Americans than separates us…The challenge now…passing the bill is only the first step, how we actually implement it is where the rubber hits the road…on how soon we can get these programs implemented…I’m there to help.”
