It’s good to see this update by Gov. Northam, in which he updates us on his health status after he and his wife, Pam, were tested last Thursday and came up positive for COVID-19. As Gov. Northam reported, “we’re on the mend, feel good…we continue to do the work of Virginia.” Gov. Northam also reported that he’s been working with the legislature on the budget, as well as on police and criminal justice reform, which he said are “moving along very nicely.” He reminded everyone that the COVID-19 virus is still out there, that everyone should stay “vigilant,” sign up for the COVIDWISE app, etc. And finally, Northam reminded everyone that there’s an election on November 3rd and everyone should get out and vote.
Just wanted to share a quick update on how @FirstLadyVA and I are doing. We thank our friends and fellow Virginians for the prayers and kind wishes, and we appreciate everyone continuing to take #COVID19 seriously. Grateful to Pam for the camerawork and to Pearl for the cameo! pic.twitter.com/zIzw7rR7X5
