Another day, another big donation to the “Yes on Amendment 1” cause by a major (far-)right-wing/Republican donor…this time former Carlyle Group CEO Glenn Youngkin donating $15,000 to “Conservatives for Redistricting Reform.” See below for Youngkin’s donations over the years, including to former House Speaker Paul Ryan, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC), Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR), Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY), Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI), etc. Yet again, the question arises as to why such a hard-right Republican would be so gungho about this redistricting amendment, as are folks like VA House Minority Leader Todd Gilbert, far-right Sen. Amanda Chase (R), etc.. Think about it.
