WATCH: 1st DCCC TV Ad in VA-05 Slams Bob Good’s Policies to Wrestle Social Security From Virginians
Today, the DCCC released its first TV Ad in Virginia’s 5th Congressional District slamming Bob Good for his expensive and radical agenda.
“Wrestling” shows Virginians that they simply can’t afford Bob Good’s radical policies. Good has promised if elected to Congress he’ll support a tax bill that adds $1.9 trillion to the debt and threatens Social Security and Medicare, even during a global pandemic. But that’s not all Good would do to Social Security, he’s promised to raise the retirement age and limit benefits if given the chance. This ad will begin airing today in the Roanoke and Charlottesville media markets.
“Quite simply, Virginians can’t afford Bob Good’s radical and expensive policy agenda,” said DCCC Spokesperson Sarah Guggenheimer. “Good has promised to bring his terrible policies with him to Congress, working to wrestle Social Security and Medicare from his constituents to his support for giving corporations massive tax handouts that add trillions to the debt. But whether he’s selling out his constituents, gutting their health care, or stripping benefits they’ve earned one thing is clear: Good’s policies are just plain bad.”
