In the midst of deadly pandemic, Republicans – in this case, Rep. Rob Wittman (R-VA01), State Sen. Siobhan Dunnavant (a doctor, no less!), far-right Del. Scott Wyatt, etc. – appear hell-bent on behaving as irresponsibly as possible, just because…LIBERTY! FREEDOM! OWN THE LIBS! or whatever idiocy. Just a reminder that today’s Trump Republican Party is the anti-science, anti-public-health party. If that excites you, then by all means vote for them. Otherwise, vote Democratic up and down the ballot, as if your life depends on it. Because it very well could.
