This is almost beyond parody, except that it’s a U.S. House Republican, namely Rob Wittman (R-VA01), so we’ve come to expect massive dishonesty from them. Check this one out, as Wittman brags about “Wins for the American people this week in Washington,” claiming that “House Republicans have led the way on a number of important health, consumer protection, and commerce bills that have passed the House, and I want to take a quick moment to let you know about the important work House Republicans are doing for you.”
Except that, if you actually look at the bills, all but four of the 13 were sponsored by *Democrats*! It’s just astounding that this guy gets away with so much lying. “Republicans are leading the way” in the House? Yeah right, I don’t think so.
