So, at this point (2/13), in Virginia we’re at 547,424 total reported – confirmed plus probable – cases (note that actual cases, as well as deaths, could be higher, maybe even a LOT higher, based on stories like this one in the NY Times), 22,846 hospitalizations and 6,996 deaths from COVID-19. The number of reported cases went up 3,215 (+0.6%) in the latest statistics, which is the same rate of increase than the day before, when reported cases were up 3,191 (+0.6%) . As for hospitalizations, they went up 128 (+0.6%), which is a slightly faster rate of increase than the day before, when hospitalizations were up 103 (+0.5%). Deaths are reported +30, compared to +8 the previous day. The number of PCR-ONLY test results is currently at 5,583,255 (up 29,300 from yesterday).
