Video: Nearly Three Months After Election Day, Nick Freitas (R) Finally Concedes That He Lost to Rep. Abigail Spanberger (R-VA07)

Freitas says he looked into Dominion voting machines, "naked ballots," etc. and found no evidence that any of it would have changed the election results.

I mean, as much as I’m not a fan of Virginia Del. Nick Freitas (R) – because he’s very far right, mostly, but also because he refused to concede the 2020 election to Rep. Abigail Spanberger (D-VA07), and instead implied all kinds of falsehoods about “voter fraud,” blah blah blah – and despite the fact that it took him nearly three months to finally say it, I’ll give him some (not a lot, mind you, but *some* credit, at least relative to many others on the far right, who remain in delusional/QAnon la-la land) credit for this. Also, it’s striking, coming from someone as hard-right as Freitas, to ever admit they were wrong about *anything*, let alone the 2020 elections…

“There’s the Dominion voting machines…from what we could ascertain at this point we couldn’t see problems with the way that the machines actually counted…And the reason why I say all this is because…what’s most important to me is the truth and the reason why I’m just being very blunt about what we uncovered as we looked at this was because at the end of the day if Abigail Spanberger won and from what we’ve seen right now it appears that she did then she’s the congresswoman and that’s who should represent the people the seventh district even if we disagree on values. The whole process of going through an open and transparent election is so that the people can decide, and that’s the conclusion that we’ve come to at this point is that she she did win that election...I’m someone that believes in peaceful transitions of power and I’m someone that believes that truth is supposed to you know win at the end of the day and and if we lost we lost.”

Now, if he had only said all that in the week or so after November 3rd…
