So, at this point (3/30), in Virginia we’re at 617,941 total reported – confirmed plus probable – cases (note that actual cases, as well as deaths, could be higher, maybe even a LOT higher, based on stories like this one in the NY Times), 26,367 hospitalizations and 10,242 deaths from COVID-19. The number of reported cases went to 1,432 (+0.2%) in the latest statistics, which is the same rate of increase than the day before, when reported cases were up 1,143 (+0.2%). As for hospitalizations, they went up 87 (+0.3%), which is a faster rate of increase than the day before, when hospitalizations were up 37 (+0.1%). Deaths are reported +23 compared to +21 the previous day. The number of PCR-ONLY test results is currently at 6,466,133 (up 13,640 from yesterday).
