So, at this point (4/23), in Virginia we’re at 652,321 total reported – confirmed plus probable – cases (note that actual cases, as well as deaths, could be higher, maybe even a LOT higher, based on stories like this one in the NY Times), 28,012 hospitalizations and 10,666 deaths from COVID-19. The number of reported cases went to 1,340 (+0.2%) in the latest statistics, which is the same rate of increase than the day before, when reported cases were up 1,373 (+0.2%). As for hospitalizations, they went up 95 (+0.3%), which is a slightly faster rate of increase than the day before, when hospitalizations were up 65 (+0.2%). Deaths are reported +13 compared to +13 the previous day. The number of PCR-ONLY test results is currently at 6,917,191 (up 24,293 from yesterday).
