Thursday (4/22) Virginia Data on COVID-19 Finds +1,373 Confirmed/Probable Cases (to 650,981), +65 Hospitalizations (to 27,917), +13 Deaths (to 10,653)

See below for graphics of the newly posted COVID-19 numbers by the Virginia Department of Health and the Virginia Hospital & Healthcare Association. So, at this point (4/22), in Virginia we’re at 650,981 total reported – confirmed plus probable – cases (note that actual cases, as well as deaths, could be higher, maybe even a LOT higher, based on stories like this one in the NY Times), 27,917 hospitalizations and 10,653 deaths from COVID-19. The number of reported cases went to 1,373 (+0.2%) in the latest statistics, which is the same rate of increase than the day before, when reported cases were up 1,261 (+0.2%). As for hospitalizations, they went up 65 (+0.2%), which is the same rate of increase than the day before, when hospitalizations were up 68 (+0.2%).  Deaths are reported +13 compared to +15 the previous day. The number of PCR-ONLY test results is currently at 6,892,898 (up 22,983 from yesterday).
