Friday (6/11) Virginia Data on COVID-19: Hospitalizations, 10-Day New COVID Cases Near Lowest Points Since Start of Pandemic

See below for graphics of the newly posted COVID-19 numbers by the Virginia Department of Health and the Virginia Hospital & Healthcare Association. So, at this point (6/11) in Virginia we’re at 677,530 total reported – confirmed plus probable – cases (note that actual cases, as well as deaths, could be higher, maybe even a LOT higher, based on stories like this one in the NY Times), 30,122 hospitalizations and 11,283 deaths from COVID-19. The number of reported cases was 105 (+0.02%) in the latest statistics, a slightly slower rate of increase as yesterday’s 215 (+0.03%). As for hospitalizations, they went up 36 (+0.1%), the same rate of increase as yesterday’s +36 (+0.1%).  Deaths are reported +13 compared to +10 the previous day. The number of PCR-ONLY test results is currently at 7,535,532 (up 14,274 from yesterday).
