MCLEAN, VA – Terry for Virginia today launched a television ad, “Towns Like Ours,” highlighting Terry’s commitment to Southwest Virginia told through Fred Adams, a small business worker in Danville. The ad, which begins running this week, will air in the Roanoke and Richmond markets to remind voters of Terry’s commitment to supporting small businesses and bringing good-paying jobs to workers across Virginia.
As Virginia’s 72nd Governor, Terry rebuilt the rural economy by lifting up Virginia’s workers and small businesses. Terry worked with Democrats and Republicans to deliver real, bipartisan results for Virginia’s families, bringing over 200,000 good-paying jobs to Virginians and cutting unemployment in every city and county and by nearly 50% in most rural counties. As Virginia’s next governor, Terry is committed to investing in infrastructure in towns like Danville, creating new jobs, building a stronger rural economy, and boosting agriculture and forestry industries across the Commonwealth. |
