After an absurd speech by Del. Bobby Orrock (R), charging that Democrats were acting autocratically by supposedly shutting out Republicans from the budget process, House Appropriations Committee Chair Del. Luke Torian (D) fires back…says that for YEARS Republicans controlled the House of Delegates and Democrats had “limited input” into the budget process. Del. Torian added that his door “has always been open,” that Republicans “could have called, could have texted…could have emailed…the letdown is not from the majority party, the letdown is from [Rs’] own leadership.”
