Terry for Virginia Releases New TV Ad, “Our Rights,” on Glenn Youngkin’s Far Right Agenda to Ban Abortion in Virginia

MCLEAN, VA – Terry for Virginia released a new TV ad, “Our Rights,” outlining the dangers of Glenn Youngkin’s far right agenda to ban abortion and defund Planned Parenthood in Virginia. The ad features footage from the second general election debate where Youngkin says he does not support the right to an abortion being enshrined in Virginia’s constitution. With Donald Trump’s Supreme Court likely to overturn Roe v. Wade and leave states to decide if abortion is legal, Glenn Youngkin has made clear his priority is a Trumpian effort to make abortion illegal in Virginia.

This summer, Glenn Youngkin was caught on tape promising in his own words to go “on offense” to ban abortion and defund Planned Parenthood if he is elected governor. Youngkin even admitted to hiding his out-of-touch agenda because he knows it will cost him votes in the election. Glenn Youngkin’s right-wing agenda would put women’s health and lives at risk and harm Virginia’s economy by driving businesses away from the Commonwealth.
