As you can see, total cases hit 1,514,862, up 11,743 since the Wednesday morning report and up 117,707 over the past 10 days. That’s significantly lower than last Wednesday’s 10-day increase of 155,947; has the Omicron wave finally started to decline? As for hospitalizations, according to VDH, we’re now at a cumulative 47,453, up 55 from the Wednesday morning statistics (also, VHHA now has hospitalizations at 3,467). And deaths are at 16,088, up 36 from the Wednesday morning statistics.
