Virginia COVID-19 Cases Up 156,293 Over the Past 10 Days; Hospitalizations (3,836) Near Highest Level Since Pandemic Began

See below for the latest COVID-19 statistics for Virginia, courtesy of the Virginia Department of Health (VDH) and the Virginia Hospital & Healthcare Association (VHHA). As you can see, total cases hit 1,451,713, up 17,027 since the Thursday morning report and up 156,293 over the past 10 days. As for hospitalizations, according to VDH, we’re now at a cumulative 46,906, up 131 from the Thursday morning statistics (also, VHHA now has hospitalizations at 3,836 – near the highest ever recorded in the  pandemic). And deaths are at 15,852, down 1 (data adjustment of some sort?) from the Thursday morning statistics.
