See below for the latest COVID-19 statistics for Virginia, courtesy of the Virginia Department of Health (VDH) and the Virginia Hospital & Healthcare Association (VHHA). As you can see, total cases hit 1,295,420, up 16,681 since the Monday morning report and up a massive 176,902 over the past 10 days – the highest 10-day increase since the pandemic began. As for hospitalizations, according to VDH, we’re now at a cumulative 45,150, up 177 from the Monday morning statistics (also, VHHA now has hospitalizations at 3,845 – the highest ever in the entire pandemic). And deaths are at 15,715, up 44 from the Monday morning statistics.
