Does Hung Cao Support Endorser Glenn Youngkin’s Plan to Ban Abortion?

Cao is the same person who bizarrely asked, “How is it that bacteria on Mars is considered life, but a viable fetus is not?”

From DPVA; the obvious answer to this rhetorical question is YES, of course he does!

Does Hung Cao Support Endorser Glenn Youngkin’s Plan to Ban Abortion?

Richmond, VA – Just weeks ago, Governor Youngkin said he’ll “gleefully” sign any abortion ban that comes across his desk. With his recent endorsement of Hung Cao, Virginias deserve to know: How far will Hung Cao go to restrict reproductive rights?

Hung Cao needs to answer the following questions:

Does he also support a full abortion ban in Virginia?

Does he believe abortion should be illegal even in cases of rape, incest or life-threatening pregnancies?

Does he support a nationwide ban on abortion?

Hung Cao has made his anti-abortion stance a central issue of his campaign. When the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, Hung fully embraced his anti-abortion stance. He even went as far as praising the Supreme Court’s pending decision to destroy decades of women’s rights, tweeting he was “thrilled.” Just days later, Hung posted a strange video saying, “It’s time for us to go back to what the Constitution says,” implying that other landmark decisions should be overturned.

In addition, on his website, Hung has also published a bizarre comparison saying, “How is it that bacteria on Mars is considered life, but a viable fetus is not?”

“After taking the endorsement of Governor Youngkin, Virginians deserve to know if Hung Cao also hopes to make abortion illegal for millions of Virginia women,” said DPVA spokesperson Gianni Snidle. “Cao knows his anti-abortion extremism is out of touch with Virginians and he needs to come clean about just how far he will go to chip away at their right to reproductive health care.”
