Congresswoman Luria Smashes Own Fundraising Record with More Than $2.85 Million Raised in Q3
The campaign has $2.9 million cash on hand heading into November
VIRGINIA BEACH, VA – Today, former small business owner and 20-year Navy veteran Congresswoman Elaine Luria (VA-02) announced a record-setting fundraising quarter with more than $2.85 million raised in the third quarter of 2022.
With this record-breaking haul, Congresswoman Luria shattered her previous fundraising record set in Q2 of more than $1.85 million raised. Congresswoman Luria’s campaign will end the second quarter with more than $2.9 million cash on hand going into the November election for Virginia’s Second Congressional District.
Congresswoman Luria’s campaign continues to be fueled by grassroots support, with 18,846 individual donors in Q3.
“Since our victory in 2018, our campaign has proudly been fueled by grassroots supporters and Virginians. Our supporters know what’s at stake this November and they continue to give us the momentum heading into Election Day,” Congresswoman Luria said. “I am proud of my bipartisan record of delivering for Hampton Roads in Congress, and I look forward to continuing my work to grow our Navy, lower costs for working families, and protect the right to choose.”
This week, Congresswoman Luria released her newest television ad of the cycle, which highlights the investments she’s secured to invest billions in defense, grow the Navy, and stand up to China. “Bucked” is Congresswoman Luria’s 12th TV ad of the 2022 cycle.
