Would Jen Kiggans Support Donald Trump For President?
Richmond, VA – Axios reported that twice-impeached and former one-term President Donald J. Trump will announce the launch of his 2024 presidential campaign on Nov. 14 – just a week after the midterms.
This begs the question: would Jen Kiggans support Donald Trump for President?
Jen Kiggans has proven herself to be quite the MAGA sycophant on the campaign trail.
When the FBI conducted a legal search warrant on Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate to recover highly classified documents including nuclear secrets, Jen Kiggans joined the MAGA extremists attacking the FBI tweeting: “Democrats … weaponiz[ed] the FBI … to settle old political scores and silence their political opponents — it’s corrupt and it’s flat out unacceptable.”
A move that saw her publicly rebuked by a local editorial board that slammed Kiggans writing:
“After announcing her bid for Congress, she apparently decided that the path to victory is the selling of her soul. How else can she defend voting to spend $70 million in taxpayer funds on a ridiculous “forensic audit” of Virginia’s 2020 election, a baseless scheme advanced by high-profile wackadoodle state Sen. Amanda Chase?
The truth is that Jen Kiggans’ political ambitions come before anything — even if that means she has to undermine America’s democracy and embrace a twice-impeached president. She embraced false election conspiracy theories and was one of only four state Senators who voted for a $70 million taxpayer-funded audit of the 2020 election. She even repeatedly refused to say who won the 2020 presidential election, supported a slew of “election integrity” bills that were aimed at restricting the right to vote, and refused to censure conspiracy theorist Amanda Chase for saying the Capitol insurrectionists were “patriots.”
“Coastal Virginians deserve to know if Jen Kiggans will support Donald Trump’s bid for the Presidency,” DPVA Spokesperson Gianni Snidle. “Kiggans record and actions speak for themselves. It‘s clear she’s just another MAGA-lackey like Marjorie Taylor Greene and Lauren Boebert.”
