New Ad: Majority Project Lays Out MAGA Republican Plans to Take Away Virginians’ Rights and Freedoms With Three Weeks Until Election Day~Ad Highlights the MAGA Flag Taking Control of the Virginia Capitol~ Richmond, VA – With three weeks until election day, a new Majority Project ad tells Virginians what’s at stake if MAGA Republicans take total control of state government. The ad lays out the MAGA Republican extreme agenda to pass an abortion ban, roll back gun safety laws, take away voting rights, and increase costs for the middle class – taking away Virginians’ rights and freedoms. The ad follows recent reporting by the New York Times on Republicans efforts to take away voting rights and suppress the vote in 2023. If they win, they’ll have full power to control our electoral system, making it harder for Virginians to access the polls and for their voices to be heard. “Their Flag demonstrates the complete and total control MAGA Republicans will have over Virginian’s lives if they win in the upcoming election. With their recent attacks on voting rights and unwavering obsession with banning abortion, Virginians are in harm’s way if MAGA Republicans take total power in just three weeks,” said Samson Signori, Majority Project Executive Director. The ad is part of an ongoing, multi-million dollar program to warn Virginians about the possible MAGA takeover of Richmond. That program includes over 100 staff members already in the field, a seven-figure early and absentee turnout effort, and a robust field program with a combination of collaborative door-to-door and phone-to-phone efforts designed to get Democrats to the polls in record numbers this November. ### |
