In addition to wild dishonesty, authoritarianism, cruelty, bigotry, etc., one of the hallmarks of Trump/MAGA Republicans is, of course, a complete inability/unwillingness to ever admit that they were wrong, that they lost (an election or in court), etc. And that’s exactly what we’re seeing now, in the aftermath of the victory last night for the YES campaign, and the defeat for the NO campaign.

Trump, about the supposedly “RIGGED” election results last night in Virginia, and how even the “extraordinarly brilliant person” he insanely and falsely declares himself to be couldn’t figure out the language of the Referendum. Anyway, so this is what we’re dealing with, and what the media won’t just say (because they’re cowards, complicit, etc.): that Trump is insane, authoritarian, etc, and anyone who supports him is responsible for the fact that Trump is president and has not been impeached by now….
STATEMENT: AFTER LOSING AT BALLOT BOX, MAGA REPUBLICANS TURN TO COURT IN DESPERATE ATTEMPT TO OVERTURN WILL OF VIRGINIA VOTERS
Richmond, VA – Following reports that Republicans are seeking to overturn the will of voters and block certification of Virginia’s redistricting referendum, Virginians for Fair Elections released the following statement:
This is exactly what we expected from Donald Trump and MAGA Republicans.
Virginians just spoke — clearly, decisively, and in historic numbers — in one of the highest-turnout special elections in Virginia history. Voters understood exactly what was on the ballot, and they chose YES.
Republicans lost. Now they’re trying to overturn the will of the voters in court and trying to relitigate an election they couldn’t win.
There is no merit to these claims — none. Any legal questions will ultimately be resolved by the Supreme Court of Virginia — not through last-minute attempts to block certification after voters have already spoken.
Virginians voted. The result is clear. And we will fight to ensure that the will of the people is respected and upheld.”
