- Possibly Del. Rip Sullivan (D) vs. Del. Kathleen Murphy (D) in deep-blue HD06 (unless Del. Murphy retires) in Fairfax County
- Del. Marcus Simon (D) vs. Del. Kaye Kory (D) in deep-blue HD13 in Fairfax County and Falls Church
- Del. Eileen Filler-Corn (D) vs. Del. Kathy Tran (D) in deep-blue HD18 in Fairfax County
- Del. Dawn Adams (D) vs. Del. Betsy Carr (D) vs. Del. Jeff Bourne (D) in deep-blue HD78 in Richmond City (note: Jeff Bourne might decide to run for the State Senate that will be vacated by Jennifer McClellan after she, presumably, wins the special election for U.S. House in February)
- Del. Will Wampler (R) vs. Del. Israel O’Quinn (R) in bright-red HD44 in Washington County, Bristol City and Russell County
- Del. Wren Williams (R) vs. Del. Marie March (R) in bright-red HD47 in Carroll County, Patrick County, Henry County, Floyd County and Galax City (note: Williams and March are two of the most extreme members of the House of Delegates and truly hate each other)
- Del. James Edmunds (R) vs. Del. Danny Marshall (R) in bright-red HD49 in Danville City, Halifax County and Pittsylvania County
- Del. Wendell Walker (R) vs. Del. Kathy Byron (R) in bright-red HD52 in Lynchburg City and Danville County
- Del. Margaret Ransone (R) vs. Del. Bobby Orrock (R) in bright-red HD67 in King George County, Westmoreland County, Northumberland County, Lancaster County, Caroline County and Richmond County
- Del. Barry Knight (R) vs. Del. Glenn Davis (R) in bright-red HD98 in Virginia Beach
- Del. Tim Anderson (R) vs. Del. Rob Bloxom (R) in bright-red HD100 in Virginia Beach, Accomack County, Northampton County
