- Photos Show New York Congressman in Blackface as Michael Jackson (“Representative Mike Lawler, a Republican locked in a tight race for re-election, dressed as the pop star for Halloween as a college student in 2006.” That’s pretty recent, not ancient history or anything.)
- Mixed verdict for 3 Memphis officers convicted in Tyre Nichols’ fatal beating
- Kaine-Cao debate offers sharply different views about the nation’s course (Yes, and also would be worth noting that Cao repeatedly failed to answer the questions that were asked of him, had no specifics, clearly didn’t know the details, etc. But again, the political media in this country is failing us badly.)
- Anderson, Vindman trade vitriol at debate for Spanberger’s Virginia seat (This is exactly how NOT to frame/report on US politics – false equivalence, “both sides,” lack of focus on the fact that the Republican candidate is an extremist and liar, etc, etc. Yes, our media is failing us.)
