Mark Warner up on the air with his first TV ads (“Safe and Fair”‘ – on his “comprehensive artificial intelligence legislative agenda” and “Data Exploitation” – on “predatory surveillance pricing and Senator Warner’s fight to crack down on the companies exploiting personal data to charge different people more for the same items and services”). Not that there’s any chance Warner loses to extremist lunatic Bert Mizusawa, but we want Warner to win by as big a margin as possible, including in key swing House districts, to help boost Democratic candidates downballot, like Shannon Taylor in VA01, Elaine Luria in VA02 and Tom Perriello in VA05.

VIRGINIA — Today, the Mark Warner for Virginia campaign launched its first 2026 television ads, highlighting Senator Warner’s work to protect consumers, lower prices, and set responsible rules for artificial intelligence development.

“Safe and Fair” highlights Senator Warner’s comprehensive artificial intelligence legislative agenda to build AI infrastructure responsibly, promote competition and safety, prepare workers for economic disruption and technological change, and strengthen America’s national security advantage.

“Data Exploitation” highlights predatory surveillance pricing and Senator Warner’s fight to crack down on the companies exploiting personal data to charge different people more for the same items and services.

“Senator Warner knows that AI is going to change almost every part of our economy and we need to prepare our workforce and our country for those changes,” said Zack Golden, campaign manager. “At a time when everyday costs are already too high, Senator Warner knows it’s not right for big companies to use our personal data to charge more for the same things. He is fighting to lower costs for Virginia families and make sure the tech companies that stand to massively profit from AI pay their fair share.”

The ads will run statewide.
