Wow, I knew the Fairfax County Board Chair race was going to be expensive, but this certainly ratchets it up a notch. Will be interesting to see how the other Democratic candidates – Jeff McKay, Alicia Plerhoples, Ryan McElveen – respond to this move by Tim Chapman.
Democrat Tim Chapman Invests $725,000 into his Chair of the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors Campaign
VIENNA, VA – Democrat Tim Chapman, candidate for Chair of the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors, announced today that he will invest $725,000 into his campaign and released the following statement:
“Fairfax County needs to act boldly today so we can create a better tomorrow. That’s why I’m running for Chair of the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors. My family and I are making this initial investment into the county we call home. From educating our kids in modern school buildings and paying our teachers a fair wage to building more affordable housing, we must boldly lead a progressive and compassionate path starting now. We must tackle our traffic congestion by focusing on moving people not cars and reduce our dependence on fossil fuels countywide. We must lead on these priorities today.
