Speaker-designee Eileen Filler-Corn Announces Committee Vice-Chair Selections
Richmond – Speaker-designee Eileen Filler-Corn today selected vice-chair positions for all of the standing House committees.
“Each committee will be led by talented and experienced Delegates who have a wealth of knowledge and a passion for finding solutions” said Speaker-designee Filler-Corn. “Democrats are ready to get to work and address the issues most important to Virginians, while finding smart solutions to some of our biggest challenges.”
Today’s announcement rounds out the leadership rollouts for the 14 standing committees in the House of Delegates. Additional announcements pertaining to the balance of committee membership will be released at a later date.
“The voters told us they want a House of Delegates that represents their values, understands them, and most importantly, will take action on issues that matter to them. We listened to those voters and will make significant changes in the People’s House,” said Filler-Corn
