Wednesday (3/31) Virginia Data on COVID-19 Finds +1,035 Confirmed/Probable Cases (to 618,976), +88 Hospitalizations (to 26,455), +10 Deaths (to 10,252)

See below for graphics of the newly posted COVID-19 numbers by the Virginia Department of Health and the Virginia Hospital & Healthcare Association. So, at this point (3/31), in Virginia we’re at 618,976 total reported – confirmed plus probable – cases (note that actual cases, as well as deaths, could be higher, maybe even a LOT higher, based on stories like this one in the NY Times), 26,455 hospitalizations and 10,252 deaths from COVID-19. The number of reported cases went to 1,035 (+0.2%) in the latest statistics, which is the same rate of increase than the day before, when reported cases were up 1,432 (+0.2%). As for hospitalizations, they went up 88 (+0.3%), which is the same rate of increase than the day before, when hospitalizations were up 87 (+0.3%).  Deaths are reported +10 compared to +23 the previous day. The number of PCR-ONLY test results is currently at 6,482,193 (up 16,060 from yesterday).
