Extremists for Barbara Comstock: A Reminder of the Far-Right-Wing Loons Who Have Endorsed Her

Rep. Barbara Comstock (R-10th) might make the occasional feint at a “moderate” vote now and again – mostly on local issues – but don’t be fooled for a second (also note that she votes 93% with her party). To the stark contrary, Comstock is as hard-right-wing as they come. Need evidence of Comstock’s extremism? Check out a few of the loons who endorsed her the last time she ran for Congress and others who are big fans of hers and judge for yourself.

Any further questions about Comstock? Fortunately, Democrats have an excellent alternative this year – businesswoman, mom, philanthropist, clean energy advocate, etc. LuAnn Bennett. To put it mildly, electing Bennett would represent an enormous upgrade over Comstock…not to mention over Comstock’s long list of extreme, bigoted, downright crazy political allies. Go LuAnn!

  • Good to see Barbara Comstock praise Humayun Khan, but she STILL won’t condemn Donald Trump. #FAIL

Captain Humayun Khan, the son of Khizr Khan and Ghazala Khan, was born in 1976 – the year of our nation’s bicentennial. He lived in Virginia and joined the ROTC in college at the University of Virginia, from which he graduated. He had a strong desire to serve our country and joined the military. In 2004, he lost his life, in the field of battle, in his heroic last moments on this earth keeping his fellow troops safe. Despite his Mother’s pleas not to be a hero; he was. He was posthumously awarded a Purple Heart and Bronze Star. Captain Khan and his family should have the gratitude of every American of every race, color, and creed. We are a greater country because men like Captain Khan still choose to serve our country and volunteer and sacrifice for the security and safety of us all. May we each be worthy of his noble service and sacrifice.
