Lisa Murkowski: Republicans Should Focus on Economy, Not “Messaging”

Good for Sen. Lisa Murkowski (Sane “R” – AK), stating the obvious, that “spending a lot of time on…messaging” is not “what the American public wants us to do.” Instead, Murkowski argues, Republicans should be totally focused on the economy. That’s certainly what the vast majority of Americans want. Instead, Republicans are concentrating their efforts on “repealing health care reform, restricting abortion, reading an edited version of the Constitution, launching investigative witch hunts, and changing budget rules to allow tax cuts without considering the impact on the deficit.” No wonder why the brief Republican honeymoon has ended, and perhaps that’s why President Obama’s approval ratings are now up to their highest levels in nearly a year. Great job, Congressmen BONEr and Can’tor, keep it up! LOL
