Obviously, both campaigns are targeting senior citizens’ votes. Of course, the Romney campaign and fellow Republicans are doing so by trying to hide their plans to voucherize Medicare and redistribute wealth from middle-class Americans to the rich and powerful (individuals and corporations). And boy, do they have a lot to hide!
In stark contrast, Democrats are trying to figure out a fair, sensible way to keep Medicare and Social Security going strong for many decades to come. On this issue, as on so many others, the choice should be easy: vote Democratic, vote AGAINST every Republican on the ballot. Unless, of course, you like giving $460 to millionaires, instead of visiting your grandkids (or whatever else you choose to do with your money). Tough choice, huh? 🙂
