After the Mark Warner kickoff last night, I headed over to the NARAL Pro-Choice Virginia “Power of Choice” celebration and awards presentation down the block. Speakers at the NARAL event included: Rep. Jim Moran (introduced by Jamie Lockhart, who presented him with the “Steadfast Supporter Award”); State Senators George Barker, Mamie Locke (who received the “Aggie Wolf Defender of Choice Award”) and Jennifer Wexton; Tarina Keene and Mary Jane Gallagher of NARAL Pro-Choice Virginia; and Virginia Attorney General Mark Herring.
